fun at home

So we have decided that owning a home is way over rated! IT IS SO MUCH WORK! Here's are cool new vinyl fence that's in the back yard... and the sweet free rose bushes that our neighbor gave us but they aren't doing too great- don't transplant stuff in July- we have put gallons of water on them and they are still struggling!

My awesome friend Casey came over and helped us start vinyl siding- we didn't get very far because it's hard stuff to figure out! We are just doing it on this garage wall where they just had plywood before- we went for a dip in the middle of the day with Amy and her kids to cool off.

Here we are digging the trench for sprinklers so that our backyard and rose bushes can get contant water- our backyard is dying without automatic sprinklers. When I'm working full time, ben has two part time jobs and going to school- we don't have a ton of time to drag sprinklers around.

Here's Case at work- we got a TON done! Our garage is now sheetrocked and insulated with shelves up and painted- We have so much more room when we can use our garage again! Thanks Casey!

Thanks to Jenny and Eric for this outfit- my shirt, pants, ben's pant and shoes are all gifts from them! Here are our friends Jill and Todd from our ward- we sang with them in Sacrament last week! We are at the Texas Steakhouse now with the Vawdries before we saw Transformers!

My husband is so wonderful- he sings and plays so well I could listen to him all day...

This was sooo fun- we had a Paraguy BBQ and had some of Ben's mission friends over! I guess they just put the charcoal on the ground so thats what we did!

Outside of course and just like Paraguy our neighbors had thier rap music going way loud...

Cute Cherstin and Chris the food was pretty good!

Mango, fried bread, chunks of grilled meat, guava juice, limes to spice up the meat, sausages...

gnochi, rice salad with carrots, peas, and lots of mayo! and of course south american pop!

So fun- we will for sure do that again!

This is our new web address. I had to change it because it's not just us and mason any more... Just wanted to let you know so that you didn't think we just dissapeared!

Renee, it will be so worth it when the sprinklers are done. The projects really don't ever end when owning an older house...but it will be worth it for everything that you will learn! It is so fulfilling too, knowing that you have accomplished so much!
