garden

I've gotta document that each year we are getting a little bit better at gardening- I honestly have loved it this year because it's getting easier too! This isn't our yard- it's my mom's but I thought Beth was too cute and I love that she is already learning to get her hands dirty and work in the yard!

Beans, lettuce, spinach, zucchini, pumpkin, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, peas, cucumbers, corn blackberries, and more! I love it we are already harvesting most of the plants!

Fourth of July lake day

We are hosting a mom and her son from Russia for 10 days so we took them up the cabin for the 4th and I think they liked it. My dad just bought a sailboat so we had a ton of fun trying to figure it out. I LOVED having my brother Chad and his family and Jenny and her family here- the only thing that would have made it better would be having Rachel and her family! Beth is crazy about water like her parents I guess- this water is freezing cold but she still loved being in it! I think she and Ben were the only people other than Darren to get in and Darren was in a wet suit!

Beth's a walkin!

At 15 1/2 months she took off and started walking everywhere! She is a different girl now- she thinks she is soo big and the whole world is her playground! OH BOY- we are experiencing parenthood at a whole new level!

Beth's favorite games

Peek-a-boo is still a favorite even at 16 months old! especially when it's mom's shirt and she can half way put it on!

She was looking through the hymn book for a while and I thought it was cute but whenever I pull out the camera it's a game to get the camera!

and of course since mom and dad have glasses she loves putting on her glasses too!
Most of all she loves little kids- cousins especially... and when there is water included it's a win-win! She just started going around the house, getting her shoes and saying bye bye. That means she is bored and wants to get out of the house!

Fourth of July at the cabin and my Dad's birthday with Russians!
