valentines celebrations
We celebrated LoVe on a triple date to Olive Garden with Ben's sister Cindy and brother Chris and spouses- the three very pregnant ladies! Mnnn the food was so good- I got pasta with mussles, shrimp and crab! Then we watched some movie- I think it's called surrogates or something- it was good- as far as movies go (which isn't all that far in my opinion!) Ben got me flowers that I can plant this spring and my very favorite kind of chocolate- chocolate soy milk! mnnn I made a triffle with a layer of brownies, pudding, whip cream and strawberries. Gosh I'm making myself hungry writing this post!

shaking in our boots!
This is our backyard... notice the lack of shed- they made short work of it! Our little house is shaking on it's poor foundation! They are expanding the street behind our house and putting up a sound barrier wall but in the meantime we have these big construction machines in our backyard! Thankfully the wall is going up in one month so we may be able to sleep in a little then! We were hopeing they would let us keep our shed but I guess they needed the room to work in :( oh well- they paid us for a new one. They just better be done by April so that they don't wake the baby up and so I can have a garden!
Idaho weekend get away
We loved visiting Sam and Julie last weekend- we were looking forward to it for weeks! It was all the brothers but Shawn (we should have invited him too since he has so many frequent flier miles!) Sam and Julie's house is lovely and they treated us great. The boys went shooting and I am pleased that my husband was the worst shot- I don't particularly need him to be great with a gun! :) We went to Seth's basketball game, ate great food including Chili's, we went to the temple (poor Sam threw up), and dominated the boys at board games! The brothers impressed everybody at church on Sunday with thier musical number- it's really amazing that thier whole family is so musical. The drive wasn't even too bad other than the fog, snow storm and deer we ran over (thankfully no harm to the car!) We were teasing Sam and Julie about Idaho the whole time so I laugh when I notice the "beautiful" landscape in the shooting pictures! Gotta love a state with so much of nothing in it! hehehe
