last post- I promise (at least for a while)

Cousins in my mom and dad's big tub
a beautiful day swimming at Crestwood park before the big reception
Celebrating Jackson's birthday before they had to head back to D.C.

Beth wrote this card for Jack all by herself (she also wrapped up some of her cars and a ball to give to him) It says To: Jack (heart heart heart!) Love beth, ruth, luky (Lucy!) rennee (hehe) Ben and lots more hearts. What a sweet girl!

Ugly shirt bowling

The day after the big celebration all the out of towners were still here so we did a group date to DI to pick out outfits for each other and then we went bowling in them!! It was hilarious!

I made Ben switch shirts with me to see if that would help my bowling since he was bowling a 150 game and I was barely getting 50 points but sure enough the shirt had nothing to do with it!!

Anne and Edwin's 50th wedding anniversary celebration

We had dinner for Anne and Edwin's close family and then a reception which went so well. The program with so many of their kids and grand-kids was a wonderful way to honor my mother and father in law.

Beus Family Reunion at the cabin- (two of my favorite things mixed!)

I know it's a million pictures but these lovely pictures (taken with Julie's fancy camera) capture the magic of this wonderful family! We had such a great time.
These teenagers are seriously so much fun to be around! so much piano playing and singing and jokes and stories and games. They give me hope for when my kids are teenagers that hopefully they will be nice to be around as well.
Reuniting with Jenny and her family who have lived in Germany for the last 5 years and headed to Africa (Mali) in a few months. What an amazing family!
At Smith and Morehouse- this is what the Celestial Kingdom will probably be like I bet!
poor Grandma Beus got soaked and was such a good sport about it too!
The piano was being played constantly- there is so much talent in this family...
The service project morning- we were all happy to help weed and take down a few dead trees (especially with the promise of  popsicles coming after!)
a group went to the Oakley School where they got permission to play steal sticks on the big lawn in the front- these kids love that game!
Telestrations was a favorite late night game- soooo many laughs!
The teenagers got some good bonding time in too!
