Beth's first Christmas

· You are the sweetest, cutest baby girl in the world!

· You hardly ever cry- if you are hungry you just wimper. The only time you cry is when you are really tired

· When other kids cry around you- you will try to get to them and pat them and you look very concerned

· You don’t crawl yet you just sit up well and roll over. If something is out of reach you just loose interest because you start singing to yourself or making all the sweet sounds you make!

· If there are people around you but they aren’t playing with you- you have a little belly laugh you give so they will start playing with you! Or when your cousins are running around close to you, you reach out and touch their arms!

· You are very shy, when you see new people you snuggle your face into mom or dad or your car seat side and then peek out at them after! J We love that you snuggle with mom and dad!

Washington for Thanksgiving

Yes yes I know I'm a slacker and hypocrite for not blogging! Whatever it's busy busy busy- and I've got the cutest baby in the world to enjoy! :) So for thanksgiving Jeana and the kids came out and we played for a couple days and then we went to Spokane to see Jenny and clan and then to Seattle to see Rach and crew! We loved it and wish we could have been there longer. Roads could have been better but we were blessed with safety and surprisingly Beth did great in the car for 3 days! Sorry the pictures are random and no explanations- gotta go help Santa get ready for Beth's first Christmas!

Our "Clue" Party

My good friends from high school- Jaree and Heather and their spouses came over to our house for a little "murder mystery dinner"! (we wanted to do a real one but they are so stinkin expensive!) So we made our own by dressing up as the clue characters and eating dinner, then playing clue and then watching Clue the movie! SOOOO fun! We found everything for Ben's outfit in his dad's closet- can you believe that?!!! His dad used to wear this to work! Sweet!

fall is here... eeek!

I'm feeling frantic- I love summer and the yummy harvest and fun times so I have been rushing around trying to soak up the last of it! Here are some updates:

We got to sing in the afternoon session of General Conference with some other ward members- It was sooo neat!

We got a gift certificate to Texas Roadhouse from Ben's boss... mnnnn!

When I don't keep the spoonful's coming fast enough beth just goes straight to the source! :)

I am soooo excited for Christmas! (most of the gifts we are giving are fun, creative, useful ones that i've had a ton of fun making-pictures will be posted at the beginning of 2011!) But here are some chocolate cookies rolled in candy cane crumbs- yummy!

Ben finished the shingles on our shed so now we just need to put up the white trim and build shelves inside!

We went to Idaho for our niece's baptism- we love visiting Ben's brother Sam and his fam and they are great hosts! Here are the cousins playing- we drove Abbie and Emma (Katies girls) up with us so they could go...

I have been busy canning and harvesting so sorry you get binge blogging! We are building a new shed- (thank you Marissa and Matt for helping! -marissa is laughing in the picture because she thinks that playing with the baby isn't helping with the shed but it is!
