ahh the joys of babies

I thought I'd grab a quick picture as I changed diapers and I caught the ongoing war of the pacifier on film! Beth was over binkies months ago until Ruth came along with it...

We heart Heartland!

We got to go up a few times this summer to "Heartland" my parents cabin. We love it up there! Some of these silly pictures are of a family reunion photo scavenger hunt my mom put together... way fun!

State Fair

Ben really wanted to go to the Weird Al concert at the state fair but me- not so much! :) So he got his brother to go with him and Sariah and I played at the fair! It worked out great!

They were lucky enough to meet him since awesome people in our ward work back stage at the state fair and hooked us up! Now Ben has an autographed shirt and a picture of his beloved weird al giving him a classic look. What more could the guy want! :)

real quick

the short story about why I made our blog private is because I had a reminder of how disgusting some people are in the world and I feel like the least information about my family out there the better.

I have a blog for these reasons:

1) as a journal/scrapbook

2) to keep my family and friends updated

3) to feel validated about what I do in my life! (something about seeing it posted on a blog makes me feel like I am doing a wonderful thing :))

I feel like I can do most of these (not as much #2) with a private blog and keep details about our life away from creepy people

Going Private

I'm so sad to have to go private because I know it's annoying but we've had a huge wake up call about why it's necessary so here we go. I would love to stay in touch with everybody so leave a comment with your e-mail or email me or send me a message on facebook with your email! Thanks everybody!
