Little Lucy's a week old

We just ran out of premie diapers which is good since at a week old she's ready for newborn diapers now! She's great at nursing and sleeping which is all I want in a baby (that fact that she looks so cute while doing it is just a bonus!) 

We've just been playing tons and relaxing a bunch since super nice family and friends bring in meals and we don't have much on the calendar. Ben has gone back to work but we still see him quite a bit so life has been great and recovery/adjusting is going very well! 

Beth asks to hold Lucy about 20 times a day- no joke. She loves her so much it's adorable. She always wants to burp her after I feed her. Tonight as I leaned over to give Beth bedtime kisses she patted my back a few times and said, "I'm burping you mom!" She loves to sing to her too- some songs that Ben sings and some that she just makes up!

My sister sent us a super generous gift in the mail which I was thrilled about but the girls just played in the big box it came in for hours! It was their house!

They love their daddy so much- multiple times a day they will ask "where's daddy?" And I'll reply "at work" and they both go, "oooh" in this super sad frownie face! 

Oh if only I didn't ever have to go back to work and Ben too :) but life will resume in a few weeks and it will probably be just fine- it's just fun to play all day and actually get a nap once in a while so I'll enjoy it while it lasts! :)
