Here we are at Alta celebrating our one-year anniversary.
We went skiing while it was snowing and wind blowing
and Ben didn't even fall down once!
After we came home and got all foo-fooed up we
went to Rodizio's Grill for dinner and had some
excellent Brazilian grilled meats and salads.

Ben gave Renee some flowers afterwards
with a card.
We had a great nativity scene on Christmas Eve at the Harston
home. Here are the members of the cast.
We enjoyed going to Temple Square and the
Joseph Smith Memorial Building to get in the
Christmas spirit.
Here's a picture of Ben's gift to his
nephews: a drawing of a medieval
castle.
Renee made some stockings and a tree
skirt for her sister's family for Christmas.
We also enjoyed making a few snowmen
with the Harston grandchildren.
Later on Christmas day at the Beuses...
We gave our gifts to the Beesleys, Ben's sister's
family.
We visited one of the newest arrivals in the
family, Charlotte Evans, Ben's niece.
We also got to play with Samuel Beus, one
of the younger grandkids.
We tried to figure out where
to put his new diaper after changing
him, but didn't have much luck.

And Happy Anniversary!
What a fun Christmas and Anniversary! You two are such a cute couple. I cant wait to see ya again sometime.
hey these are great pictures. Thanks for posting so many. It is fun to see the nativity cast with all the kids in it. I'm totally impressed with the sewing skills you have! I'm sure the Allen family will use the Christmas stockings and tree skirt for many many years to come.
I also forgot to say that Ben's drawing of the castle and surrounding lands is quite awesome!
Renee!! Your tree skirt turned out beautifully!! I hope you are doing well!
I love the tree skirt you made! Super cute! And congrats on hitting the one year mark!! How fun!
Hey I didn't know you had a blog I need to do one for us. I got one it just is well existing right now. You should send me emails of when you update yours like heather. You guys are so cute.
That might be the longest post I read... and I loved it! You're so cute, Me and my husband, Chase, tried to make stockings this year... they were red fleece hand sew-up with black yarn.
Anyways, this is Brittany from Pageant. I saw you off Jeni's blog- though the whole, "your name isn't Laura anymore" kinda threw me off.
Xoxo!
